facebook-901-million-users-259x250New York (Associated Press) – With all the many things that a person can do on social media sites, getting appropriate funding for an indie movie is nothing short of success for the filmmakers behind it. According to sources, the indie movie “Behind Still Waters” received its funding through a successful kick-starter campaign. Chris Lowell, a first time director, said that he and Mohit Narang (co-writer), was just looking to set up their Facebook account and at the same time trying to Tweet properly.

He and the team behind the movie received over $200,000 in funds to finish the movie. Three times more than the amount of money they’ve put into creating the movie. For more information about this post, go to the source.
