Apple is perhaps the largest global brand that lacks social media presence, most especially on Facebook and Twitter. Musa Tariq, the former social media boss at Burberry and Nike was hired by Apple, which believe was done to improve the company’s presence on social media networks. Tariq most recently held the position of Global Senior Director of Social and Community, Digital Brand for Nike.
He held the said position from 2009 to 2012. Tariq also worked for Burberry as the Global Director of Digital Marketing.
