chat3Recent terrorist attacks have caused a heightened alert to monitor every communication channel. To the observance of Prime Minister David Cameron, social messaging apps like SnapChat and WhatsApp are not regulated by the country’s intelligence agency because the messages are encrypted.

Since data are not monitored on messaging apps because of privacy concerns, any organization can operate silently.  With this in mind, Cameron wishes to remove this opportunity for terrorists to communicate without being detected. If he is to be re-elected, he will most likely implement a law that would either regulate the use of these apps or banning them completely.
