In 2008, when people was still wary of using Twitter, capitalist Bijan Sabet handed the hatchling social media network millions and millions of dollars. Bijan was already an avid user of Twitter, he and his colleagues from Spark Capital of Newbury Street grasp the capabilities and potential of a 140 character communication tool while other were still reluctant in using it. Since then Bijan’s investment have been rewarded with a profit more than what he lent the company. Spark Capital have made a lot of investment in Twitter over the past years amounting to $50 million. This is believed to grow up to $640 million as Twitter becomes public during the latter part of the year.
